Misguiding light
Hundreds of thousands of squares of various sizes and colors were used to create the portrait of my daughters in “Misguiding Light”. I developed this style and technique nearly twenty years ago. It started as an investigation in how a computer interprets our visual world with the use of pixels and tone. Over time the process has evolved; I have used different mediums and developed different systems of pixel hierarchy.
